NATIONAL DENIM DAY Throw a party and invite everyone you know. The only stipulation for admission is that you wear something of denim. Even the table setting can carry through on this theme.

"Whip" up several different recipes with different types of potatoes: sweet, Idaho, russet etc. Invite over a few buddies and have a great time. Or perhaps, you can prepare a main dish that is potato compatable. Have your buddies bring over different potatoes dishes to complement the main course.
